Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has launched for the first time a line of ready-to-drink cocktails under the renowned Schweppes brand. The new range, called Schweppes Mix, combines the brand’s expertise in mixers with premium alcoholic beverages, offering a high-quality product in a convenient 250 ml can format.

Schweppes Mix debuts with two varieties:

  • Gin Twist: a citrusy and refreshing blend.
  • Paloma Bliss: a cocktail with tequila and grapefruit, inspired by the classic Paloma.

Designed for pre-going out moments or home gatherings—where 65% of consumption of these beverages occurs—this offering aims to attract new consumers with intense flavors and sophisticated presentation, positioning itself as an alternative to wine and prosecco.

The ready-to-drink beverage market in Great Britain already exceeds 631 million pounds and is growing faster than other alcoholic categories.

CCEP has already had success in this sector with products such as Jack Daniel’s Coca-Cola and Absolut Sprite, with the latter being the most notable launch in 2024.

To boost the visibility of Schweppes Mix, the company is offering promotional materials to retailers and recommends placing the cans in refrigerators, as 82% of consumers prefer cold, ready-to-drink beverages.
