Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has inaugurated its largest and most efficient canning line to date in Richlands, Brisbane.
With an investment of 75 million dollars, this new facility has the capacity to process 2,000 cans per minute, 120,000 per hour, and almost 3 million daily.
The primary focus will be on the production of Monster Energy Company products, responding to the increase in consumer demand for energy drinks.
In addition, other brand beverages such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Fanta will be manufactured at this plant.
Orlando Rodriguez, general manager of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Australia, has highlighted that after almost 90 years of manufacturing history in Australia, significant investments continue to be made in our operations.
During the construction of the line, which lasted two years, 250 external workers were hired, and once operational, it will generate 18 full-time jobs.
The line incorporates a reverse osmosis system that improves water treatment capacity by 67%.
In addition, its technology for filling cans at room temperature could reduce annual energy consumption by 23%, compared to other lines within the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners network.
