The management of the Kiev brewery in Ukraine has decided to significantly increase its production. This will be achieved by launching a new processing line, which will increase the quantity of canned products by up to 80%.

Also, the Carlsberg company has just announced that it will contribute a significant amount of money to Ukraine this year, to the tune of approximately 40 million euros. This investment will help the Kiev brewery improve its yield and production of canned products, which will help increase production by about 80%.
“This line will optimize operations, meet consumer demand for canned products and increase the production of canned products by 80%.” noted Oleh Khaidakin, general director of Carlsberg Ukraine.

“It is an event of historical significance. It is one of the largest foreign investments in Ukraine in 2023. As Denmark’s ambassador, I am proud to be present on this occasion. This new production line has a symbolic importance that goes far beyond the beverage industry in Ukraine. It is a sign that a major global player and industry leader, Carlsberg, has faith in Ukraine and is ready to invest in Ukraine at a time when Ukraine’s epic struggle against Russian aggression is still ongoing.”said Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, Denmark’s Ambassador Extraordinary to Ukraine.

“This fits very well into the close Danish-Ukrainian partnership on a political level. Denmark is one of Ukraine’s closest partners. We cannot wait for peace to come. We have to start now, and we have to achieve concrete and tangible results. This is exactly what Carlsberg is doing here. Carlsberg is an icon of Denmark’s industrial development that has been known for its corporate social responsibility, long before that notion was invented. You have always been taking care of your employees and communities. Your activities in Ukraine are another example of this proud legacy.”reiterated the representative.

The Carlsberg Group has been present in Ukraine since 1996 and is one of the leading international investors in the consumer products and services sector. Over the years, the company has invested close to one billion euros in the country.
