Carlsberg, the famous brewery, has announced an exciting collaboration with Chinese illustrator Hu Yunfeng to launch a limited edition aluminum bottle. This initiative is to celebrate the Chinese New Year, which in 2024 will fall on Saturday, February 10 and will be the Year of the Dragon1.
The limited edition bottle is a testament to Carlsberg’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. Carlsberg has previously been recognized for its efforts in creating sustainable packaging, including the development of a paper beer bottle made from sustainable and recyclable wood fibers.
The collaboration with Hu Yunfeng, a renowned illustrator adds an artistic touch to the bottle, making it a collector’s item as well as a packaging for the beer. This professor at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources of the Chinese Academy of Sciences University focuses his research on geographic information science and technology. With this initiative, Carlsberg hopes not only to celebrate the Chinese New Year, but also to highlight the importance of sustainability and innovation in the brewing industry.
This is undoubtedly an interesting initiative by Carlsberg and a clear example of how companies can be creative and at the same time promote important values.
