Canpack continues its efforts to reinforce its Bydgoszcz plant in Poland with a significant investment aimed at expanding and modernizing its facilities. The plant, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, will see its production capacity increased by approximately 1 billion cans per year.
The investment, which exceeds 440 million Polish zlotys (more than 100 million euros), includes the construction of a new production and storage building with an area of more than 140,000 cubic meters, designed to optimize logistics and increase operational efficiency.
In addition, state-of-the-art equipment and technologies will be incorporated, and existing production lines will be modernized, which will improve the quality and productivity of the plant.
This project will also generate a positive impact on local employment, maintaining the current 450+ positions and creating more than 100 new jobs in the region.
This expansion is part of Canpack’s strategy to consolidate its leadership in the European market and respond to the growing increase in demand for aluminum cans, reaffirming the Bydgoszcz plant as a strategic center in Central Europe.
