Carlsberg Malaysia has announced plans to create a new canning line as part of its investments in the country. The decision was made because the Danish brewer’s subsidiary, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia, has reported an increase in profits until 2023, despite facing a drop in sales during this period.
The beer company has earmarked US$92 million for the construction of a new canning line and a plant to filter the beer. This construction is expected to be completed by the end of this year. This strategic plan aims to improve production capacity and reduce energy and water consumption.
The famous Carlsberg Brewery has made several strategic investments in Malaysia, including the construction of a new production line for canning its beverages. But this is not the only thing, as other significant investments have also been made in the country.
Carlsberg has decided to invest in upgrading and modernizing its production facilities in order to improve both the efficiency and quality of its beer. The beer company has taken measures in favor of the environment and sustainability, through projects that seek to reduce its environmental impact. These include more efficient water and energy management, as well as a reduction in waste generation.
On the other hand, Carlsberg has invested resources in marketing and promotional strategies to increase brand awareness and attract a greater number of customers. The company has investigated the possibility of designing different types of beer and beverages to meet changing customer needs.
