The Brazilian Aluminum Can Association (Abralatas) has announced the launch of the fourth edition of the “Most Beautiful Can of Brazil” Award, which recognizes design and creativity in beverage can packaging. This year, the contest is renewed with a new theme: “Living Roots”, a tribute to cultural diversity, Brazilian identity, and the stories that connect society.
As a main novelty, the 2025 edition introduces two distinct categories of participation: one for breweries and another for manufacturers of other beverages, with the aim of expanding representativeness and fostering even more balanced competition.
The contest is open to all beverage can manufacturers operating in the Brazilian market who are the intellectual and industrial owners of their label designs. Participating cans must have been created and produced in Brazil, comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) or other official bodies, and have been in circulation from 2021 to the date of registration.
In addition to its practicality and sustainability, the aluminum can has established itself as a vehicle for visual expression. For this reason, Abralatas seeks to highlight these creations as true works of art that enrich the consumer experience.
The initiative reaffirms the role of packaging as a strategic brand element and an essential part of Brazil’s visual culture.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 25.
