Brava Kombucha has managed to revolutionize the natural beverage sector. All this thanks to the hard work of its founder, María Teresa Marín Dólera (Mayte Marín). It’s not every day you get to be named the best fruit kombucha in the world. The award for the best kombucha made with a single fruit, in this case lemon, was won at the World Kombucha Awards. The Murcian firm is competing against natural beverages from Mexico, France, Japan, Singapore, Japan and Thailand, among ten other countries.

The World Kombucha Awards (WKA) recognize brewing excellence in the different categories of this beverage. The awards are created by Kombucha Events and its first edition was held in Spain. The objective of this competition, open to manufacturers from all over the world, is to raise awareness of kombucha worldwide by recognizing the best beverages.

Brava kombucha is a fermented tea-based beverage produced in an artisanal way in Murcia, Spain. It is an alternative to soft drinks and industrial kombuchas, as it offers a natural, healthy beverage with different flavors. Brava kombucha comes in a can, which makes it lighter, more environmentally friendly and recyclable than glass or plastic. In addition, the can protects the quality of the kombucha by preventing exposure to light.

Currently, kombucha is the ‘trendy drink’. Brava Limón is a natural soft drink produced from fermented tea containing bacteria and yeast, which makes it a different option from common soft drinks. This product uses Murcian citrus fruits, leaf infusion and fruit peel as main ingredients. The same company also offers other options such as a blend of aromatic flowers, another with ginger and a limited edition made with hops.
Brava Kombucha, a company in the Region of Murcia, is made up solely of women and dedicated to the production and sale of an artisanal and sustainable soft drink. This company describes itself as being geared for non-conformists.

In 2020, a community called Sisi CB was created to carry out entrepreneurial projects. In 2021, this community was awarded the Business Projects prize by the Murcia City Council and was also chosen among the eight most innovative companies in Spain by Alimentaria.
