The Covid-19 pandemic continues to shake up the calendar of international events in the global beverage technology sector this 2022. After intensive consultation with the companies and associations represented on the BrauBeviale exhibition advisory board, the event organizer, NürnbergMesse, has decided to suspend BrauBeviale 2022 from November 8 to 10, 2022.
“By taking this step, we are reacting early to market concerns and ensuring planning reliability for the industry,” maintains Andrea Kalrait, CEO of BrauBeviale and Beviale Family. The next BrauBeviale will therefore be held from November 14 to 16, 2023 in Nuremberg.
Stefan Stang, Managing Director, Private Brauereien Bayern adds that “we took the decision to discontinue BrauBeviale in 2022 as key sponsors, together with our partner NürnbergMesse. In doing so, we are accepting the industry’s desire to hold only one international specialist exhibition in 2022. However, we are already working together to put on another attractive and successful BrauBeviale in Nuremberg in 2023.”
For Roland Folz, president of the group, Pentair Haffmans BV, the decision is absolutely correct. “holding the two leading beverage technology exhibitions in one year would be too much.” Finally, Martin Tolksdorf, CMO, DÖHLER Group GmbH emphasizes that “planning reliability is very important, especially nowadays.”
