Brasilata has announced the acquisition of the equipment and stock of Metalgráfica Renner, the traditional manufacturer of cans and metal containers of Renner inks, founded in 1933.

Brasilata stated in a press release that the purchase includes machinery, equipment and stock from the plant located in Gravataí, whose activity will be discontinued.

The acquisition is considered strategic for the expansion of steel packaging production capacity and to increase participation in the chemical and food sectors throughout Brazil. The acquired assets will be installed in the Estrela, Barra do Piraí (RJ), Recife (PE) and Jundiaí (SP) plants.

In addition to announcing new equipment at the plant located in the Taquari Valley, the company also opened 17 new jobs in Estrela: ten for the position of production operator and seven for technical areas. Last year, the unit was responsible for the production of almost R$ 1 billion in line products and R$ 67 million in new products, representing a growth of 5.6% in relation to 2022.
