Blue Moon Brewing has new plans, its latest commercial foray is focused on introducing a non-alcoholic version of its flagship beer by the end of this year. It is Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic Belgian White, a Belgian-style wheat beer whose demand in the non-ALC segment continues to grow and consumers are looking for more low and non-ALC options.

The new beer is ready for release, will be marketed in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and will be the first non-alcoholic wheat beer from a major brewer in the market. In addition, the non-alc segment has taken off in recent years, growing by more than 27% in the last year.

“Blue Moon changed the way we think about beer, and it’s doing it again, this time in the non-alc segment,” said Jamie Wideman, vice president of innovation for Molson Coors Beverage Company.  Wideman further added, “Consumers know and trust Blue Moon, they enjoy consistent quality and a subtle citrus flavor every time they reach for a Blue Moon Belgian White. We are very proud to offer that same unique experience in a non-alcoholic version. As the #1 craft brand in the U.S., Blue Moon has the opportunity to offer a non-alcoholic craft beer from a brand that drinkers trust.”
