The multinational Bevcraft Group, Europe’s leading ‘craft canning’ company, recently announced that it has completed the purchase of the mobile canning business of Tripod Canning, LLC. The Kenilworth, N.J.-based company is included in the multi-million dollar investment program that Bevcraft intends to launch within the United States.
Specifically, both Tripod’s fleet, equipment and mobile crews will join Bevcraft USA in serving craft beverage producers and breweries in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as Maryland, Delaware and Connecticut. Bevcraft will supply mobile canning throughout Europe from its sites in Ireland, Norway, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, as well as operational can decorating and digital printing plants, wholesale depots, static canning facilities and quality control laboratories.
Following the announcement, Darren Fenton, COO of Bevcraft Group, noted: “Quality-driven mobile canning has from the beginning been at the heart of what we do at Bevcraft. We are delighted to welcome the Tripod team to our Group and embark on the next chapter of growth in the United States” to which he added that “we have always believed in a quality and service based approach to mobile canning, and we are very excited to bring a new approach to a market that we have always considered one of the most innovative and dynamic in the world. Craft beer has come a long way since the first mobile canneries appeared more than a decade ago.”

Bevcraft Group is the European leader in the “craft can” packaging sector and offers decoration, filling and distribution of cans, as well as related solutions to craft beverage producers. It also recently merged with Heidrun Tapperi AS to form Europe’s largest supplier of handcrafted cans.
