The company has announced the acquisition of Them That Can’s mobile canning business. A move that will significantly improve the level of service to the UK craft beverage market.
In recent years, Bevcraft has developed Europe’s most extensive integrated craft can supply chain with mobile canning, can distribution and decorating facilities at sites in Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands. Precisely, Them That Can’s mobile fleet, equipment and associated crews will join Bevcraft’s UK division with the expanded offering operating as Craft Canning UK.
Darren Fenton, COO of Bevcraft Group , notes, “The UK craft beer market is one of the most vibrant and exciting in the world and over the past six years, Them That Can has worked hard to create the UK’s leading mobile canning service. We are very excited for them to be part of our shared history as we both embark on the next chapters of growth that will bring further improvements to the market.”
Bevcraft recently commissioned Europe’s first Tonejet digital printing plant at its Peterborough site, providing a versatile, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable decoration option for cans with no minimum order restrictions. Launched with an initial capacity of 330 ml, it will expand to include 440 ml and 500 ml next quarter. These services will be available immediately to all existing Them That Can customers.
