BAMA has presented its 2024 awards, with the top prize going to Church and Dwight’s Batiste 24H Dry Shampoo. Judges’ comments included: “A real piece of innovation behind the encapsulated fragrance. I imagine this will be of great interest to active consumers.”


Highly recommended are Jago Pro’s 2-Phase Mask; Jago Pro’s Sun Mousse SPF50.


Other awards were as follows: Unilever’s DWI Lightweight DWI Aerosol Can has won the sustainability award, for its ” high percentage of recycled aluminum used.”


Massilly topped the category with its data collection tool, Kascade, designed for continuous improvement action plans.


A firm winner in the packaging category was Aptar Beauty’s Twist-to-lock range, which attracted positive comments from the judges on application, sustainability and benefits to user experience


Eviosys wins Aerosol in Action Award
The Eviosis brand has won the Aerosol in Action Award for its proposal ‘The infinite cycle: a wind turbine through an aerosol cap’ . A striking image of a steel lid with a wind turbine prominent in the background. The image will appear on the cover of the BAMA 2025 Annual Report and also in World Aerosols magazine.


This year’s Special Recognition Award was presented to Tony Brealey, CEO and co-owner of Reabrook Ltd. and former chairman of BAMA. Patrick Heskins, executive director of BAMA, said of Tony: “This award is thoroughly deserved, not only for what Tony has done for BAMA during his time on the Board and as Chairman, but also for his incredible achievements with Reabrook, taking the company from success to success.”
