Ball’s plant in Ejpovice, Czech Republic has won the Hoover Sustainability Award for EMEA. Among its achievements are: reducing electricity usage by 9.1% through innovative projects, saving $413,000 and 273kW in just 12 months. This plant is also working on inclusiveness and diversity so that all staff feel fully integrated.
Ejpovice has achieved the recycling of 7.5 tons of cans together with the Pilsen plant, benefiting local charities.
