Ball Metalpack launches new line of aerosol cans.
Ball Metalpack recently announced the launch of a new high speed aerosol can line at its DeForest can manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, USA.
This launch is due to the increase in customers being experienced in categories such as household cleaning products and spray paint, to name a few.
In this regard, Jim Peterson, the company’s CEO, noted that over the past 12 months “our demand for aerosol cans has grown by double digits and, with long-term contracts; we see no signs of this trend slowing, even after the Covid-19 pandemic subsides.”
To build the line, Ball Metalpack explains on its website, it is combining “existing underutilized canmaking assets with new state-of-the-art high-speed aerosol canmaking equipment to bring the new line into production more cost-effectively and more quickly.”
Ball Metalpack is a supplier of sustainable metal packaging for aerosols, food, household consumables, pet food, nutritional products and other products in North America.
