Ball has played a key role in introducing canned water to the market, driving this category and consolidating it as an important trend, while reaffirming its commitment to the circular economy and the conservation of natural resources.

Consumers are increasingly interested in products that minimize their environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable future. In this context, aluminum canned water emerges as a responsible and practical option for those seeking alternatives aligned with the principles of the circular economy.

Unlike other disposable packaging, aluminum cans can be recycled repeatedly without losing quality, making it the most recycled packaging in the world (71%). Additionally, its recycling cycle is highly efficient: an aluminum can returns to the shelves in approximately 60 days after proper recycling, significantly reducing the need to extract new natural resources. This recycling process only consumes 5% of the energy required to produce primary aluminum.

For Daniela Tomatti, Commercial and Sustainability Vice President of Ball in South America, consumer awareness is key to moving towards more responsible consumption.
