The multinational Ball Corporation received the distinction of “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” in 2022 from the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and Disability:IN.

The Disability Equality Index (DEI) is a tool for assessing inclusion and diversity outcomes. The U.S. company has proven to be a model at the international level and Walmart’s operating company designs its behaviors and is satisfied with the rating it obtained, which became 90 out of 100.

We are proud to receive this top score and will continue to create a workplace where all employees feel included because that is fundamental to establishing a great place to work,” said Aaron Rodzinak, Co-Leader of the Skills Network at Ball Corporation.

We know that disability inclusion is not just about adding people with disabilities to our company. It is a cultural change that prioritizes the creation of a space where all employees can reach their full potential. By providing opportunities for all, our people can advance their careers and make a difference in our communities,” added the Co-Leader of the Skills Network at Ball Corporation.

Disability is something natural that affects a billion people around the world, and it almost becomes an everyday occurrence. Through Ball’s Skills Network, one of the company’s 17 diversity and interest groups, hundreds of employees join together globally to make a difference in the lives of people with visible and invisible disabilities in the workplace by providing resources and maintaining awareness of the contributions and challenges of employees with disabilities.

Finally, Jill Houghton, president and CEO of Disability:IN, noted that the number of companies that have incorporated disability as part of their corporate culture is increasing. He added that the company is proud to partner with 415 companies in the Disability Equality Index 2022.
