Charles E. Baker, a 30-year veteran of Ball Corporation, announced that he is retiring after his turn as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary on his 66th birthday.
Last month it was announced that Hannah Lim-Johnson had been promoted to senior vice president, in addition to chief legal officer and corporate secretary. It was also learned that Baker would maintain his position at Ball to provide advice and successfully complete the process.

Baker partnered with Ball in 1993 with the role of driving business. Previously, he had worked as a legal partner for Fraser & Beatty in Toronto. He was then promoted to Associate General Counsel from 1999 to 2004. Finally, he was appointed as the company’s General Counsel.
