Ball Corporation and Münsterland J Lülf have partnered to introduce a new collection of flavored milkshakes in aluminum cans, inspired by the film SpongeBob SquarePants: Search for SquarePants, released in December 2025.

The series highlights Ball’s ability to combine premium design with engaging narratives on packaging, transforming each can into a medium that connects brands and consumers. The milkshakes are presented in 250 ml slim cans, optimized for point-of-sale visibility and visual appeal.

Münsterland, known for its range of milkshakes, launched three limited-edition flavors in collaboration with Paramount Pictures:

  • Banana, featuring SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Strawberry, featuring Patrick Star
  • Chocolate, featuring Sandy Cheeks

The cans include the slogan “Recycling macht Spaß! (“Recycling is fun!”), reinforcing both brands’ commitment to sustainability and aluminum circularity, and encouraging consumers of all ages to care for the environment.

Jag Bains, EMEA Commercial Vice President at Ball Corporation, emphasized that the cans protect milk from light and air, preserving its flavor and nutrients, and keeping the drink cold for longer. He also highlighted that the design aims to connect with consumers through well-known characters, playfully demonstrating that sustainability can be accessible and part of everyday life.

For his part, Guenter Spiekermann, Sales and Marketing Director at Münsterland, stressed that the collaboration adds collectible value to consumers’ favorite flavors and allows for the communication of the importance of recycling in a fun and approachable way.

The special edition cans are currently available at points of sale across Germany, including EDEKA, Kaufland, and Lekkerland, and reflect the long-standing collaboration between Ball and Münsterland to combine functionality, convenience, and outstanding design in packaging.
