The multinational company Ball is known worldwide for promoting recycling and the use of its aluminum cups at large events and congresses. Once again, the American company has demonstrated this by being present together with Damm at the latest edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, presenting its new infinitely recyclable aluminum cups.

With this effective campaign, Damm also tested during MWC Barcelona 2022 its new reusable cups made from 100% aluminum produced by its Ball can supplier, thus demonstrating that in Spain it is also possible to minimize the environmental impact of venues and events by strengthening recycling with truly recyclable packaging.

Specifically, this type of cup, being made of 100% aluminum, can be recycled in its entirety and indefinitely, since it does not lose quality or properties no matter how many times it is recycled. In addition, this type of glass allows the beverage to be kept cold for a longer period of time, thus improving the consumer’s experience.

In addition, Estrella Damm, as a sign of its firm commitment to the circular economy, has created, together with the recycling company Blipvert, exclusive containers to recycle these glasses when they are no longer going to be used.

In addition, the Mobile World Congress serves each year as a major showcase of the latest innovations for many companies. In this latest edition of the event, Damm presented an articulated arm that will help streamline beverage service at large events. The tool, developed in collaboration with the robotics consultancy BR5, works autonomously and will help waiters and waitresses at peak times at large events.

The robot consists of an articulated arm capable of simulating the dexterity of the best waiters and waitresses, being able to take a glass from a dispenser, place it with the right inclination under the handle, open it and pour the beer, close the tap and present it at the bar, where the bar staff will serve it to the final customer.
