Asda stores have launched their first range of canned wines. It is Pica Pica with six delicious varieties.
Pica Pica can be found in stores with two varieties of white wine, two of rosé wine and two of sparkling wine. They are 250ml cans and are marketed in the UK for 2.50 pounds.
In cans of white wines, Pica-Pica offers a floral South African Sauvignon blanc with passion fruit and citrus flavors, with vibrant and refreshing notes. The Pica Pica Viognier contains hints of apricot, peach and lemon, complemented by refreshing floral aromas.
The Pica Pica range of canned rosé wine contains two options: the White Zinfandel which has a classic, fruity taste, with a natural balance of sweetness and subtle watermelon and strawberry flavors. On the other hand, the canned Pica Pica Pinot Grigio Rosé, a floral Italian wine, with red cherry and white peach flavors, with a clean, fresh and fruity style of red berries.
This new variety of Asda’s canned wines also has a sparkling wine version: Pica Pica Sparkling White contains notes of apple and tropical fruits, while Pica Pica Sparkling Rosé offers a vibrant hint of strawberry and white peach along with its vibrant bubbles.
Along with white, rosé and sparkling wines, the Pica Pica range will also feature two canned wine cocktails from June 17, designed to rival the more expensive canned cocktails costing just £2.00.
The Pica Pica Cassis & Sparkling Wine Spritz is a delicious wine cocktail, rich in blackcurrant and blackberry flavors. Or, as a refreshing alternative, the Pica Pica Elderflower & Mint Wine Spritz, another lighter wine cocktail with notes of lime, elderflower and mint.
