Vinca has launched a new series of its range of organic Sicilian wines in 187 ml cans created by Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP). The wine is made from organic grapes grown on the west coast of Sicily. Vinca wines have won numerous awards in the UK, have been listed by British Airways and Planet Organic, and are now exported to over ten countries worldwide.

This recent addition is the sparkling wine, inspired by the best Italian bubbles.  According to Vinca “it is light and lovely, with aromas of white flowers and peach and is made from organic Grillo grapes grown in the sunny vineyards of Sicily.” It is organic and vegan, like all Vinca wines, and has 10.5% alcohol.

Vinca’s individual 187 ml cans are filled by canning experts Los Bucaneros, who operate both mobile and stationary canners in France and the Iberian Peninsula. Henry Blackmann, founder of Los Bucaneros, and his team of beverage experts manage the entire canning process, from helping customers analyze the product to optimizing quality before and after canning.

Vinca’s elegant wine can designs were developed in collaboration with Vinca’s designers and AMP’s graphics team. From color selection (including solid colors, halftones, transitions and text legibility) to proofing cans and high-speed final production, all production processes were executed flawlessly to achieve a stunning visual result. AMP’s graphics team, based in La Ciotat, France, executed the Vinca can design efficiently and in a timely manner to ensure a perfectly timed launch to market.

The canned wine market has been steadily developing over the past five years, with an average compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10%. Beverage cans are now a fully recognized and fundamental element in any wine packaging mix.
