Ardagh Group S.A. (Ardagh) has reported that John Sheehan will be stepping down from his position as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) later this year, as he had previously indicated to the Board of Directors. The company is currently in the process of appointing his successor, and a formal announcement will be made in due course. Ardagh’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Porto, commented:
“We are deeply grateful to John for his dedication and commitment in postponing his departure until the successful completion of the recapitalization transaction earlier this month. John is highly regarded both within and outside Ardagh, and he leaves with our best wishes and sincere appreciation for his valuable contribution.”

For his part, John Sheehan stated:
“I believe Ardagh is in a strong position for its next phase, with a recapitalized balance sheet and strong market positions. I wish my colleagues and the company’s new owners every success in the future.”
