A group of archaeologists from the Sochaczew History Explorers Team in Poland have discovered a rusty milk can containing a valuable World War II treasure.

According to Polish media outlet Kutno.net.pl, a rolled-up piece of cloth was found inside the can, which, according to initial investigations, could be the banner of the 37th Łęczyca Infantry Regiment, named after Prince Józef Poniatowski.

The find has generated great enthusiasm in the 37th Regiment Historical Association, which celebrated the news on their social networks and called the banner their “Holy Grail”, an object they had been trying to find for years.
