The American brand Anheuser-Busch, maker of brands such as Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser and Bud Light, has announced a new $10 million investment in its brewery located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Over the past five years, Anheuser-Busch has invested nearly $2 billion in its facilities across the country to help create and sustain jobs and drive economic prosperity in the communities where it operates and its employees reside.

This investment is aimed at making facility improvements to maintain industry-leading quality standards and maximize efficiency; upgrading manufacturing equipment essential to beer production; and improving the plant’s critical infrastructure.

The Jacksonville brewery, a mainstay of Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. operations since 1969, has played a crucial role in the $490 million invested in Florida to date. Anheuser-Busch operates more than 120 facilities nationwide and, along with its distribution partners, employs 65,000 Americans. As the nation’s leading brewer, Anheuser-Busch has the unique ability to generate American jobs and drive economic prosperity on this scale.

With nearly 1,000 employees at four facilities in Florida, Anheuser-Busch remains committed to being a key driver of the state’s economy and maintaining its position as a leader in the U.S. brewing industry.
