Anheuser-Busch has allocated $17 million to improve its brewery in Houston, Texas, as part of its Brewing Futures program. This investment is focused on optimizing transportation facilities and production operations to strengthen distribution in the region.
Brendan Whitworth, CEO of the company, highlighted that this contribution reflects the company’s commitment to local economic development and job creation. The Houston plant, operational since the 1960s, is Anheuser-Busch’s only facility in Texas and has received more than $50 million in improvements over the past three years, including upgrades to refrigeration systems and other infrastructure.
This action is part of a larger effort by the company, which has invested more than $2 billion in its factories in the United States over the past five years, reaffirming its commitment to national manufacturing and strengthening local employment.
