ANFACO-CYTMA, in collaboration with Fundación Banco Sabadell, launches the 8th edition of the ANFACO Design Award, aimed at students and young designers up to 35 years old. The competition seeks to foster creativity and emerging talent in packaging, with special focus on projects linked to the “Cata la Lata” campaign, which promotes the consumption of canned fish and seafood.
Registration will be open from February 16 to April 10, 2026 through the ANFACO-CYTMA website: https://anfaco.es/evento/viii-premio-de-diseno-anfaco/. A professional jury will select nine finalists and one winner, who will receive €6,000 and see their design on campaign cans for one year.
The award has established itself as a benchmark for young talent in graphic design and food packaging, with record participation in the previous edition: over 300 contestants from 18 nationalities and 67 design schools. Many institutions have already integrated the competition into their academic programs, reinforcing its educational and professional value.
Through this initiative, ANFACO-CYTMA and Fundación Banco Sabadell strengthen their commitment to innovation, creativity, and the promotion of young talent, bringing canned products closer to new audiences through modern and attractive visual language.
