The canning industry association and processing industry, Anfaco-Cytma, returns to Galician campuses with the second edition of La Matriculata, its campaign aimed at bringing students closer to the benefits of canned fish and seafood as part of a balanced diet. The initiative coincides with the start of the school year every year.
During the week, the gastronometa, its food truck to promote canned fish, will tour different campuses: Faculty of Law of A Coruña, will pass through the EUDI of Ferrol; the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Lugo and will also be in front of the Education and Social Work and ESEI building in Ourense. The following week, on October 3, it will be at the Faculty of Economics of Vigo.
In addition to the tastings, Anfaco will distribute a “survival guide” with recipes, practical tips and instructions for preparing easy, nutritious and tasty dishes from canned goods. The activity will have the collaboration of gastronomic experts Alberto Ribas (@alvientoo, @maisgrelos) and Chema García (@elfarogastro).
The campaign is carried out in collaboration with the Consellería do Mar and is co-financed by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (Fempa).
