One more year, and reaffirming its commitment to the representation and promotion of the processing sector of fishery and aquaculture products, ANFACO-CECOPESCA participates in the International Fair of Frozen Seafood – CONXEMAR-, which celebrates its XXIV edition in Vigo, and where wholesalers, importers, exporters, processors, manufacturers, distributors, refrigerators and machinery and auxiliary industry meet.

As has become traditional, this organization will be co-exhibitor of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, thus consolidating its strategic alliance with government institutions in the promotion and internationalization of seafood products of the Spanish industry.

Information, promotion and tasting of seafood products

During the event, those attending the fair will be able to find the ANFACO-CECOPESCA stand in Hall 4 (stand 4B13) where different promotional and information activities will be carried out for the fishery and aquaculture products processing sector, including tastings of canned and seafood products.

The space provided by the stand will serve as a meeting point for all professionals interested in learning more about the sea-industry complex associated with this organization, and as a promotion of commercial relations between its associated industrial fabric and suppliers or customers.

In addition, ANFACO-CECOPESCA will attend to all those visitors interested in learning about the products of its associated companies, establish contacts with them, as well as deepen the services of the Organization and Technology Center.

Institutional meetings and meetings with industry stakeholders

At the same time, the secretary general of ANFACO-CECOPESCA, Roberto Alonso, will hold bilateral meetings with delegations from third countries, such as Morocco, Portugal and Canada, and will participate in various meetings with the main stakeholders and businessmen in the sector worldwide, as well as with international organizations such as the FAO. The purpose of these meetings and gatherings is to strengthen commercial and sectoral relations while exploring new opportunities for collaboration to promote the competitiveness of the sea-industry complex.

On the other hand, ANFACO-CECOPESCA, through the head of the Sustainability and Circular Economy Research Line, David Alonso, will participate in the round table “Keys to the circularity of packaging for fishery and aquaculture products” of the interplafatoformas day organized by PTEPA and Packnet.
