During the 21st World Beverage Innovation Awards ceremony, which recently took place in Nuremberg as part of the BrauBeviale trade fair, the most outstanding innovations in the world of beverages were honored.

Ardagh Metal Packaging (AMP) won this year’s award in the Best Metal Design category for its Caramel can with GHEND technology. This technology makes it possible to create bright graphics on the top of the can, making it even more eye-catching and increasing its visibility.

Dutch beverage company Candy Can has launched a series of sugar-free canned soft drinks aimed at adventurous consumers looking for low-calorie options and sustainable packaging. The packaging, designed to match the product, is eye-catching and colorful, with high-definition printed graphics that evoke candy stores and amusement parks. Each can has its own unique design with the word “H! GHEND” prominently featured, making it an essential element of the complete package.

Ardagh Metal Packaging-Europe sales director Gerlof Toenhake expressed his enthusiasm at receiving the award for Best Metal Design at the World Beverage Innovation Awards, despite the high level of competition. According to him, this achievement demonstrates the quality and creativity of the Candy Can product, in addition to its sustainable features.
