The American company, Vobev LLC, is in the last phase of construction of the combined can and beverage processing plant in the USA. It has also just announced that it has made a number of title and position changes within its staff.
With immediate implementation, the following changes have been made. Andy Pretty, formerly corporate controller, will become chief financial officer; Eric Cudnohoske, general manager to vice president, operations; Toni Ure, human resources leader to vice president, human capital; Brian Belot, sales leader to vice president, sales and customer service; Mike Sowieja, co-manufacturing leader to vice president, strategic business development.
Vobev is the first company in North America to offer can manufacturing, filling and shipping under one roof. Their facility is unique in that, by integrating the manufacturing, filling and shipping of cans, they can eliminate weeks from their production schedule. These comprehensive capabilities not only get your product on the shelves faster, but give you a direct path to lower costs and higher profitability.
In addition, the company notes that “for established brands, they get customers to receive small runs in weeks rather than months, allowing them to test new ideas quickly. Our facilities are specially designed to allow smaller batches, with flexible lines and faster changeovers. We are making can production more environmentally friendly than any other manufacturer in the US.”
This new business model reduces trucks on the road by bringing manufacturing, filling and packaging under one roof. The global beverage can market size is expected to reach $53.22 billion by 2028.
