The American brand Dr Pepper is launching a new image with a clear objective: to increase sales in the demanding and competitive German market. For this purpose, it has opted for a bold, modern optical redesign, very much in line with the design of U.S. products. The 0.33-liter cans of the Hero Classic, Cherry and Zero varieties have had a new look since May.
Dr Pepper, America’s cult drink has 23 different flavors and is one of the most American drinks for many Germans. The brand continues to inspire many fans with the unique flavors of the Classic, Cherry and Zero varieties available in Germany. To move even closer to U.S. products, the Dr Pepper logo and can design elements were modernized.
The new cans, which are already available in German stores, will be promoted with eye-catching point-of-sale placements such as shelf stoppers, an outdoor campaign consisting of scene posters in the major cities of Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin, as well as social media promotions.
