The Spanish Metallographic Association held its Annual General Meeting on June 16. It was attended by representatives of all associated and member companies.
One of the main conclusions of this meeting was, in line with the global situation, the crossroads at which the sector finds itself due to the situation of supply chains around the world, the energy crisis and inflation caused, for the most part, by the war in Ukraine. As Yolanda Sanz, director of AME, says, “the situation of market confidence that could be guessed at the last meeting has not yet been consolidated. We are waiting for the new challenges that are sure to appear and that require our full attention”.
As one of the main associations that brings together leading companies in the metalworking sector, AME intends this year to face the difficulties of the market together, and this annual meeting is a clear example of this. The meeting showed a sector in tune and ready to face the different challenges, fully committed to promoting and favoring the circular economy of metal packaging and closures.
Once again this year, continues the director, “we have been able to celebrate the great celebration of the sector among great professionals and good friends, which is a real luxury”.
