Alupro, an organization dedicated to aluminum packaging recycling, will showcase its latest developments in recycling programs and behavior change at the 40th LARAC Conference, held on October 8 and 9 at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
The event will bring together more than 500 representatives from 170 local authorities in the United Kingdom, where Alupro will highlight its educational and awareness initiatives, including the MetalMatters and Every Can Counts campaigns, focused on encouraging citizen participation in aluminum recycling.
In addition, Alupro will take the opportunity to strengthen its collaboration with Welsh authorities in meeting the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for packaging, offering resources and support to increase recycling rates in the region.
The LARAC Conference is one of the most relevant events in the United Kingdom in the field of waste and recycling, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and is a key space for local recycling managers to exchange experiences and best practices.
Those interested can learn more about Alupro’s activities during the conference by visiting its booth at the partner exhibition or consulting its official website.
