Solidarity initiative to encourage recycling among children. The City Council of Algeciras convened one more year the traditional Christmas pastry and can sculpture contests, which are held annually on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
This original can sculpture contest, now in its seventh edition, is open to the general public with prior registration until December 12 at feriayfiestas@algeciras.es or feriayfiesta2@algeciras.es, indicating name and surname, ID card number, contact telephone number and e-mail address.
Participants will have to deposit their works in the Plaza de Andalucía where they will remain on display until December 30, when they will be removed to participate in the “Arrastre de Latas” on January 5. The organization has established a first prize of 150 euros in toys, a second prize of 100 euros in toys and a third prize of 50 euros in toys.
