AB InBev announced that Ezgi Bárcenas, who held the position of Director of Sustainability, will leave her position to take a different professional opportunity. During his more than 10 years with the company, Bárcenas assumed different roles and was responsible for advising on sustainability issues, managing sustainability efforts and overseeing the award-winning acceleration program.


In 2021, Bárcenas was promoted to Director of Sustainability and led important partnerships to strengthen the company’s sustainability agenda, especially on issues related to water and agricultural development.


Ingrid De Ryck has also been appointed as the new Sustainability Director in our company. He has been working at AB InBev for more than 22 years and has extensive experience in different areas and at an international level, having collaborated in Supply Chain, Logistics and Procurement teams during his career.
She most recently served as vice president of Procurement and Sustainability for Europe, where she established a strong supply chain and reviewed commodity strategy in an inflationary environment. It is recognized for its significant progress towards AB InBev’s Sustainability Goals 2025, while driving sustainable financial results. Ingrid holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the University of Leuven and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.


He will continue to live in Leuven, where Stella Artois is headquartered. He will report directly to Ricardo Moreira, Director of Supply Chain at AB InBev. These changes will become effective on March 1, 2024.
