Emballator Tectubes launches 100% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) aluminium tubes, available for all market segments and in all product sizes. The new product reduces the carbon footprint and CO2 emissions and contributes to the circular economy.
PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) is a material, such as aluminum, that has been converted into a product, used, discarded, collected, cleaned, reprocessed and remanufactured into something new. Products made from materials recycled by consumers close the chain and are recycled into a new product.
“We have worked hard to complete this launch and are very pleased to be able to offer this material. We believe that recycled material, especially from consumers, is the future,” says Tobias Lidevei, CEO of Emballator Tectubes.
The new aluminium tube is made from 100% consumer recycled material, is produced with 100% green electricity and is recyclable forever. The Emballator PCR tube has the same excellent product characteristics as the classic aluminium tubes and is suitable for products in the sanitary, pharmaceutical, chemical and food segments.
“Thanks to this tube, our customers can make a small change to their products that has a big impact on the environment and the circular economy. Our PCR aluminium tube is just one way to help our customers achieve their sustainability goals,” says Tobias Lidevei.
