The ANFACO-Cecopesca canning employers’ association elects new president
Iván Alonso-Jáudenes Curbera is the new president of Anfaco- Cecopesca (National Association of Canned Fish Manufacturers).
Jáudenes is part of the fifth generation of one of the oldest companies in the canning sector that is still active today. This is the company Conservas Antonio Alonso, founded in Vigo in 1873.
He joined Conservas Antonio Alonso in 1999. At the beginning, he was in charge of purchasing and then operations until he became general manager. His professional activity has always been linked to the world of fishing in Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
This appointment follows the resignation for personal reasons of Manuel Calvo García-Benavides as President of this Association.
ANFACO-CECOPESCA is a private, non-profit business association whose mission, more than a century after its foundation, is still to represent and defend the sectorial interests of the marine and food cluster, as well as to provide high added value services through its Technological Centre to the whole cluster.
