Air Control Industries (ACI) has developed an industrial air drying system designed to remove moisture from cans and other containers after filling and before the labeling or packaging stages, thereby improving the efficiency of food and beverage production lines.

This equipment is part of ACI’s DRI‑Line series and is designed to be integrated into canning and bottling lines, effectively removing surface water that can compromise label adhesion and the quality of inkjet marking.

The systems utilize blower-driven air knife technology to direct high-velocity air jets onto container surfaces, achieving high moisture removal rates even at line speeds of up to tens of thousands of cans per hour.

These solutions not only accelerate production flow but also minimize issues such as surface corrosion and watermarks that can lead to product rejections or failures in automatic labeling systems.

Available models can offer up to 96% or more surface water removal, adapt to different can diameters, and be configured with enclosed tunnels to contain water and reduce noise in the plant.
