Tractor Beverage Company, the farmer-founded and employee-owned brand known for its USDA-certified organic beverages in foodservice, announces its entry into retail with Haymaker, a sparkling apple cider vinegar-based tonic, inspired by the traditional drink of farmers and also certified as organic by the USDA.

Starting in January 2026, Sprouts Farmers Market will exclusively distribute Haymaker nationwide, marking Tractor’s debut in the direct-to-consumer market and expanding the growth of one of the fastest-growing foodservice brands in the U.S.

According to Kevin Sherman, CEO of Tractor Beverage Company, the brand has grown thanks to its unique approach, prioritizing foodservice and commitment to organic, without rushing into retail. Haymaker reflects this philosophy, using ingredients sourced from living soil and paying homage to the farmers of the past.

Tractor is already present in more than 10,000 locations, from restaurants like Chipotle, to hospitals, universities, and large entertainment venues, thanks to its partnership with AEG, a global leader in sports and entertainment. This success has allowed the company to achieve profitability this year, paving the way for its direct-to-consumer model.

Haymaker tonic revives the tradition of centuries-old agricultural tonics, combining apple cider vinegar, ginger, and citrus, and is offered in four flavors: Apricot Peach, Citrus Ginger, Dragon Berry, and Passion Mango. Each can contains one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and only five grams of sugar.

The company maintains a strong commitment to sustainability and organic agriculture, supporting farmers through the Organic Impact Tracker, the Farmhand Foundation, and its 1% for the Planet initiative, reaffirming its philosophy that better beverages start with better agricultural practices.

Kim Coffin, Chief Forager of Sprouts, highlighted that Haymaker combines innovation, flavor, and values, offering consumers an organic, non-GMO, and refreshing product, aligned with the growing demand for functional beverages and non-alcoholic options.
