Brown-Forman Corporation has announced the arrival of New Mix, considered the most popular ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail in Mexico, to the United States. The product, made at the Casa Herradura plant in Jalisco, uses El Jimador Blanco Tequila as a base and combines authentic Mexican flavors.

The U.S. launch includes two of the most representative flavors: Paloma and Cantarito, which mix tequila, fruit liqueur, and grapefruit concentrate. Each can contains 355mL and 5% alcohol by volume, and is marketed in packs of four with a suggested price of US$10.99.

The product was already a leader in Mexico. The can presentation underscores the importance of metal packaging in Brown-Forman’s strategy, a detail relevant to those who follow packaging trends in the beverage industry.

The official announcement was made on November 11, 2025, highlighting the company’s interest in expanding its Mexican RTD cocktails to other markets. Even so, there has been no report of a specific can launch for the Mexican public to date, although production takes place in Jalisco.

This move reinforces Brown-Forman’s presence in the ready-to-drink cocktail segment and highlights both the authenticity of Mexican flavors and the use of metal packaging in the product’s international expansion.
