Crown Holdings has announced the addition of a third high-speed production line at its beverage can manufacturing plant located in Ponta Grossa, Paraná State, Brazil. This expansion responds to the growing demand for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the southern region of the country.
The Ponta Grossa plant, which opened in 2011, currently operates with two production lines totaling an annual capacity of 2.4 billion cans. With the new line, the facility will reach a capacity of 3.6 billion units per year, thus becoming Crown’s largest operation in Brazil. Commercial production on this third line is projected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
The company maintains its forecast for fiscal year 2025, with an estimated generation of $800 million in adjusted free cash flow and a capital investment of approximately $450 million.
