The CANPACK Group has confirmed its participation for the eighth consecutive year in the prestigious BNP Paribas Green Film Festival, thus consolidating its support for one of the world’s most outstanding artistic events in terms of sustainability and ecological awareness.

The next edition of the festival will be held from August 11 to 17 in the heart of Krakow. For one week, filmmakers, artists and environmental experts will gather to address today’s major ecological challenges through visual narratives, educational activities and the active involvement of the community.

“The alliance with this festival reflects our long-term commitment to environmental awareness and creative and accessible ways to promote it,” said Bartłomiej Wojdyło, Director of Sustainability for Europe at CANPACK. “We believe in the power of storytelling and working together to generate a real impact, and this festival represents that combination in an exemplary way.”

This year, CANPACK will once again enrich the event’s program with a PIXELATA installation, organized in conjunction with the Every Can Counts initiative. This artistic work, created from aluminum beverage cans, will highlight the aesthetics of circular recycling. At the conclusion of the exhibition, the cans will be sent to CANPACK’s facilities to be recycled and transformed into new packaging: a clear example of the closed loop in action.

In addition, the company will host a special meeting at its Krakow headquarters with one of the festival’s speakers, focusing on the environmental impact of the digital environment, thus reinforcing its link with the creative community and the key themes of sustainability.

“At CANPACK, we understand sustainability as a shared responsibility that unites us with customers, collaborators and local communities,” added Wojdyło. “It is an honor to once again contribute to a festival that promotes open dialogue, environmental education and artistic expression.”

Organized by the Green Festival Foundation, the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival is distinguished by integrating sustainability criteria into all aspects of its development, from waste management to ecological logistics. Held on the banks of the Vistula River, under the silhouette of Wawel Castle, the festival remains a benchmark in green innovation, climate awareness and collective action.
