On Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, The Ohio State University will host the technical seminar “A Young Packaging For Future Generations” at its main campus in Columbus, Ohio, aimed at professionals in the metal packaging sector, particularly in the aluminum beverage can segment.
The event will take place in the main building of Food Science and Technology, offering two full days of training from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including meal breaks and networking opportunities. The program includes 14 specialized conferences delivered by experts from leading companies in the industry such as Arconic Corporation, Stolle Machinery Company, Henkel Corporation, INX International Ink Co, Pneumatic Scale-Angelus, OneVision Corporation, and JBT Marel Corporation
The seminar content is aimed at both can manufacturers and packaging users, as well as professionals interested in expanding their knowledge of this technology. The sessions, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels, will deeply explore the aluminum can production process: from material manufacturing, its formation and online processing, to filling, double seaming, and sterilization of ready-to-drink beverages.
This event represents a valuable opportunity to understand the challenges and advances in an industry that is key to sustainability and packaging innovation.
Seminar Description This seminar aims to provide a clear understanding of the fundamental processes and key materials in aluminum can manufacturing and beverage packaging.
