Bunting hosted the Young British Metal Recyclers (YBMR) at its experience center to showcase the latest metal separation technologies applied to recycling.
During the visit, Bunting’s technical team demonstrated the operation of Eddy current, electrostatic, magnetic, and stainless steel separators. The laboratory led by Dr. Neil Rowson explained how these technologies, adapted from mining, allow the recovery of valuable metals such as gold in electronic boards or the separation of lithium batteries to reduce fire risks.
Attendees also toured the manufacturing plant and observed equipment in production. The event aimed to provide practical training and solutions to current recycling challenges.
