The British brand Re:Water, known for its sustainable approach with reusable aluminum water bottles, has been awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category, one of the most prestigious business recognitions in the United Kingdom.

Since its launch in 2021, Re:Water has managed to sell over 10 million bottles and eliminate more than 235,000 kilograms of single-use plastic from the supply chain.

Behind this brand is Berrington Pure Spring Water, based in Herefordshire. Re:Water’s story is an example of resilience: its debut was planned for 2020, but the pandemic disrupted all plans by paralyzing the hospitality sector. Far from giving up, the team used that pause to perfect the product. The result: a premium, elegant, lightweight, and durable bottle, made from 100% recycled aluminum—including the cap—and entirely recyclable.

Matt Crocker, founder of Re:Water, assures that the brand is now present in M&S, Co-op, Pret A Manger, Caffè Nero, Itsu, National Trust, London Zoo, Four Seasons hotels and other places, so this award “is a recognition of the effort and creativity of our entire team”, he stated.

The King “’s Awards for Enterprise, formerly known as Queen”’s Awards, were renamed in 2023 in honor of King Charles III, with the aim of continuing Queen Elizabeth II’s legacy. The program, with 59 editions under its belt, allows awarded companies to display the official emblem for five years.
