Pablo Mosquera, a famous bartender from Galicia, has jumped on the bandwagon of the quinta gama, that is, ready-to-drink products, and has created the first queimada in a can. Who says you can’t create a wonderful party at home with authentic Galician flavor?
Also, to be clear, it may be easy to cook simple foods at home or take them for a picnic, but cocktails always require an expert hand to have clear measurements, proportions, not to mention how complicated it is to have all the ingredients at home to create a proper cocktail.
Mosquera has focused on the project of creating a variety of premium cocktails that can be purchased on-line on some supermarket shelves and has just been launched at the prestigious Basque Culinary Center.
The price is 3.95 euros plus VAT for the on-trade and apart from the Queimada, which Mosquera has named the Camino de Santiago Cocktail, this range of cocktails includes the Margarita, Dry Martini, Negroni, Mojito, Espresso Martini and Bloody Mary varieties.
