This year, under the theme “From Compliance to Performance,” they highlighted the value of the standards and guidelines that guide this division in manufacturing aluminum containers of the highest quality.
Crown Colombiana S.A., a subsidiary of Crown Holdings, operates a beverage can manufacturing plant in Tocancipá, Cundinamarca, Colombia. This plant, one of Crown’s several global locations, specializes in the production of aluminum containers.
The company has made significant progress in sustainability, becoming the first in Colombia to receive Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Standard certification, which recognizes responsible sourcing practices. This is aligned with Crown’s “Twenty by 30™” sustainability program, which aims to reduce carbon footprint and improve supply chain responsibility.
