The Lisser Art Museum (LAM) in the city of Lisse (The Netherlands) has recovered a work of art from the trash. The work is called All the good times we had together and is by French artist Alexandre Lavet and, at first glance, looks like two discarded and dented beer cans. An employee threw them into the trash by mistake and at the last moment, the gallery owner rescued them before they were taken to the dumpster. The work resembles two empty and dented beer cans, but if you look closely, you can see that they are meticulously hand-painted with acrylic paint. Museum sources say that it took a lot of time and effort to create this piece. The head of the museum has explained that they are now placed in “a more traditional place”, on a pedestal, so that no one will be called again to confusion.
